Using Online Help

Throughout this help file, the FileStar/2 application is referred to by its acronym FS/2. For other acronyms used, see Acronyms .

Search the glossary for terms not fully understood.

Online help is generally available for most windows, menus and dialog windows within FS/2:

  • sqbul. Press F4, then F1 for help with the FileStar/2 frame window.
  • sqbul. Press F1 for help with an internal active window.
  • sqbul. Press F1 while holding the LMB down on any menu item for help with that item.
  • sqbul. Press F1 for help with any dialog window control that has the input focus.
  • sqbul. Press F1 with the Cover page selected for help using the Settings Notebook.
  • sqbul. Press the dialog Help button for general help with dialog controls and fields.
  • sqbul. Press the page Help button for help with any selected page of the Settings Notebook.

    Font conventions are used for ease of reference so a user can easily associate words with items such as windows, menus and controls. The font conventions are:

  • Page Sections
  • Menu names
  • Menu items
  • Window names, buttons and controls
  • Links
