Frame Window Sizing

In VGA mode (640x480), the default frame window size is 632x450. The default frame window size for SVGA to XGA resolution (800x600 to 1280x1024) is 86% of the horizontal and 74% of the vertical resolution. Above XGA resolution, the default size is 75% of the horizontal and vertical resolution.

Pushing the Size button in the Data Panel while depressing the Ctrl and Shift keys (or Ctrl+Shift+W) will resize the window to the default size for the current resolution.

The FS/2 frame window may be resized like any sizable OS/2 application window, by dragging its borders; the internal windows are scaled automatically when the frame is resized.

To maximize the frame window, double click the frame title bar or use the maximize button.

Only the Name field and Message window in the Data Panel are resized when sizing the main frame window. All others sub-windows are fixed in width which is based on the font size used for both the Data Panel buttons and sub-windows. The size of the Name field is the controlling factor in setting minimum frame width. The Name field cannot be reduced to less than the width of 4 characters for the current font. To see more of the name file, reduce the font size in the Data Panel by dropping a smaller font on the X:Used button (in the example, J:Used), the left most button on the panel.

If the Ctrl+Shift keys are held down while resizing the frame window with the mouse, the size information will be displayed as depicted above
